When I decided to start a website, I was faced with either a large learning curve involving HTML, CSS and a whole bunch of other things to numerous to mention OR using a 'canned' content management system with a much smaller learning curve. I went with the content management system because it allowed me to concentrate more on the content of the site rather than the mechanics of putting it together.  Joomla! just seemed to fit the bill perfectly and its FREE.  I realize that some things about the site might seem a little cumbersome at first, but it is far better than anything that I could have put together on my own.  Besides that, its FREE.  If you have suggestions to improve the site, please use the 'Contact Us' page to send them along. I will do my best to address your concerns, but keep in mind that by using a 'canned' system I have a limited amount of control over how things are presented.
